The lecture was held on Wednesday, 2nd November 2016 in front of the Kärntner Rotary Club Völkermarkt in the Gasthof Kilian in Haimburg.

There were about 30 people of the Rotary Club present.

I was invited to give a lecture on architecture.

The theme I chose was: “Architecture, a value for man and the environment?”

The lecture consisted of two parts, a theoretical and a practical part.

In the first part, I discussed how the concept of architecture was associated with history and what architecture is today. In addition, I was interested in how architecture can bring added value to owners and the environment.

In the second part, I showed how to add value by using practical examples.

The lecture was concluded with a discussion of how far architecture could be able to provide value in the region of Völkermarkt.
